My Story

Once upon a time…

There was a girl who found solace in stories. She was the daydreamer, the child who scribbled in notebooks while the world around her wasn’t always kind. Fairytales promised that one day, things would be different—that she was worthy, even if she couldn’t yet see it.

She carried that belief with her as she grew, but “One Day” didn’t arrive the way she expected. Life brought heartbreak: a preemie baby that didn’t make it, her twelve-year-old sister who suddenly became sick and passed away. And yet, through it all, she had her words. Writing became both a way to process, to make sense of her experiences, and—sometimes—to be heard. Some of those words made their way into the world, under her real or pen names. Each one was a step forward.

Then came the next chapter—motherhood, more responsibility, including a move across the world, twins, and a special-needs child. Writing time dwindled. Confidence wavered. Creativity seemed to slip further away. Writer’s block wasn’t just about the blank page; it was about feeling stuck in every sense of the word.

So, she searched for answers. She studied the rhythms of creativity, the patterns of self-doubt, the ways we silence ourselves before we’ve even begun. She explored the power of journaling, somatic writing, and narrative transformation—familiar tools that had once carried her. And in doing so, she found a new purpose: helping others reconnect with their voices, too.

So, yes—that girl, that woman, is me. And I’m happy to say my journey has brought me back to a place where I can enjoy writing again and feel confident expressing myself. Because stories don’t just entertain us—they remind us of who we are, who we’ve been, and who we can become. Whether you’re here to move through your own creative journey or to find your way back to your writing, know this: Your story matters. And you are not alone.
