My Story

Once Upon a Time...

I was a girl who found solace in stories. A daydreamer. A child who scribbled in notebooks while the world around wasn’t always kind. Fairytales promised that one day, things would be different — that I was worthy, even if I couldn’t yet see it.

I carried that belief with me as I grew. But One Day didn’t arrive the way I expected.

Life brought heartbreak: a premature baby who didn’t make it, a twelve-year-old sister who suddenly became sick and passed away. And through it all, I had my words. Writing became a way to process, to make sense of what felt unbearable — and sometimes, a way to be heard. Some of those words found their way into the world, under my real name or pen names. Each one felt like a small step forward.

Then came another chapter: motherhood, responsibility, a move across the world, twins, and a child with special needs. Writing time dwindled. Confidence wavered. Creativity felt further and further away.

What I eventually realized was this:
Writing blocks aren’t just about the page — it’s about the story we’re living inside.

So I began searching for deeper answers. I studied the rhythms of creativity, the patterns of self-doubt, and the craft of story itself — how narrative works, why certain stories move us, and how structure, character, and voice shape meaning. I returned to journaling, somatic writing, and narrative frameworks — tools that had once carried me, now with new intention.

And something shifted.

I didn’t just find my way back to writing. I found my way back to my voice — and to a calling.

Today, I teach creative and expressive writing, story craft, and narrative journaling for people who want a deeper, more honest relationship with story — on the page and within themselves.

My work lives at the intersection of writing as a craft and story as a tool for inner growth, for deep-feelers, creatives, and writers who sense that their inner life and creative voice are deeply intertwined. Because stories don’t just entertain us—they remind us of who we are, who we’ve been, and who we can become. Whether you’re here to move through your own creative journey or to find your way back to your writing, know this: Your story and your voice matters--let's bring it to the world.
